In 2016, we took on another great challenge! To introduce a new concept of a zoo to Rio de Janeiro. More than just a reconstruction of a space… A change in concept, structured on the pillars of education, research, and conservation.
With this, the old zoo made way for the BioParque do Rio, one of the greatest tourist attractions in the marvelous city, located in the heart of Quinta da Boa Vista, very close to the National Museum and the Maracanã Stadium.
The BioParque do Rio is born as a new conservation center, a true gift for the city. The BioParque will provide visitors with a complete and transformative experience for the whole family.
